Height 18-24in/45-60cm
Light preference Sun
Soil preference Moist, well-drained
Sowing time/depth Spring, autumn, 0.25in/6mm
Small, pink, semi-double flowers on wiry stems make this both a lovely addition to the cottage garden border and a useful cut flower.

NOTE: Externally sourced seeds.

Sowing and/or growing instructions
Very simple - sow direct in autumn or spring, raking in gently so that seeds are covered. Thin plants to a foot or so apart. I am informed that Autumn-sown plants can reach a final height of well over a metre, but have yet to try this. Can also be sown thinly in modules, 6mm deep, thinning to one plant per cell and planting out when large enough.
